Ready to Have a Spooktacular Vacation?

Can you believe it is almost time to bust out the fall decorations and get ready to be spooked again? It is coming up faster than you think.

Disney is already announcing all the fun coming to their resorts, plus the cruises that have their fun theming too!

In addition to the amazing immersive decorations that will be taking over both resorts, they will also each be hosting their own unique after-hours parties. Walt Disney World will be hosting Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party while Disneyland will be partying with the Oogie Boogie Bash.

The best part is when you work with a travel advisor from Navigating Adventure Travel, we can help you decide if the party is right for you, and how to make your park reservations around party dates so you can maximize your time and your money.

The parties go late into the night, but your ticket gets you into the park a few hours before the party to enjoy the park!

Oogie Boogie bash will have some amazing party exclusive food and drinks waiting for you. This party takes place in Disney’s California Adventure Park. If you have ever considered staying at the Grand Californian Hotel or Paradise Pier this might be a prime time to stay! Both have private entrance and exits just for their guests. At the end of the night, loaded up with candy and aching feet, that quick trip back to the hotel is divine.

Oogie Boogie Bash with feature immersive treat trails with all the candy you can carry.. and more. The villains will be out in full force as the villains come out to celebrate and reign over the festivities from their thrones.

There will also be a special cavalcade, only available during this party, as well as a special show featuring Mickey and his friends. The Redwood Creek challenge trail will be transformed into the Villains grove. It promises a scary good time. There is so much to see and do! Which is also great because the park is at a reduced capacity you can get on all your favorite rides plenty of times!

This is also the only time of the year that adults and older kids can live out their character dreams and dress up in the parks!

Disney also just announced an incredible deal for California residents and the prices are great. Talk to your favorite travel advisor to craft your perfect package- including all applicable discounts.

Lets change gears and head on over to Walt Disney World and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Starting in August, Mickey and all his friends are ready to greet you and your crew for a fantastic time.

Here you will get to meet your favorite characters too including ones you might not usually see.

If you are a 90’s kid, I know you know the Sanderson Sisters and they will be there to party along with you at the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.

There is also a special firework show including Jack Skellington as the host. You can also get your dance club moves going at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café for the Disney Junior Jam. This party is appropriate for all ages, and this is a great place for the smallest adventurers to hang out and have some fun.

You also won’t want to miss the Boo to You Halloween Parade.

One of the biggest differences between the two parties are the food offerings. Oogie Boogie Bash has special foods just for the party that you cant get anywhere else and any other time. Ranging from sweet to savory, you could spend the whole night just eating!
